Who is eligible to join the program?
Men and women 18 and older who have a history of substance use or alcoholism, a willingness to participate in recovery programming, and the desire to abstain from mood-altering substances are eligible.
How long is the program?
The length of stay varies by individual, but most women participate for at least 6 months to two years, depending on their recovery goals and progress..
Can residents work while in the program?
Yes! We encourage women to find employment as part of their recovery journey. We also provide job readiness and resume support.
Can family members visit?
Yes, family engagement is encouraged in a healthy and supportive way. Specific visiting guidelines will be shared during intake.
What does it cost to participate?
Program fees vary, but we strive to keep costs affordable. Scholarships or assistance may be available depending on need. Please contact us for details.
Do you offer refunds?
No. Bridges of Blount County does not offer refunds for any payments once they have been made. By making a payment the payor acknowledges and agrees that all fees are non-refundable, regardless of voluntary departure, discharge, rule violations, incarceration, hospitalization, or other circumstances that result in the resident leaving the program before the end of a paid period.
What happens if I leave early?
Payments are made in advance to reserve a bed and are not prorated or refunded if a resident chooses to leave or is discharged before the end of the paid period. This policy helps ensure the continued operation and availability of housing and services for all residents.
